Smart Management Pack for UNIX and Linux Servers
Smart Management Packs (SMPs) are Jalasoft's solution to extend Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 (Ops Mgr 2007) capabilities to monitor network devices. These management packs contain specific processing rule groups, computer groups, processing rules, notification groups, status views, topology views, performance counters, alerts, and ready-to-use knowledge for monitoring and managing supported network devices and servers.
Jalasoft’s SMP for UNIX and Linux Servers provides a comprehensive solution for monitoring the performance, availability and health status of these Servers in mission critical networks with the capability to monitor single interfaces as an object, simplifying the monitoring of devices with distributed applications.
This management pack contains the ready-to-use knowledge for monitoring and managing Unix and Linux Servers. Many predefined rules are provided with the SMP in the form of management packs grouped in the following categories:
