Smart Management Pack for VMware VirtualCenter
Smart Management Packs (SMPs) are Jalasoft's solution to extend Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 (Ops Mgr 2007) capabilities to monitor network devices. These management packs contain specific processing rule groups, computer groups, processing rules, notification groups, status views, topology views, performance counters, alerts, and ready-to-use knowledge for monitoring and managing supported network devices and servers.
Jalasoft’s SMP for VMware Virtual Center provides a comprehensive solution for monitoring the performance, availability and health status of the Virtual Center in mission critical networks.
This management pack contains the ready-to-use knowledge for monitoring and managing the VMware Virtual Center. Fourteen (14) predefined rules are provided with the SMP for VMware Virtual Center in the form of management packs grouped in the following categories:

Deploying the SMP for VMware Virtual Center helps improve the availability and performance of the Virtual Center across the enterprise network, as the SMP includes rules and thresholds for monitoring and managing critical indicators and conditions related to the monitored devices. The SMP enables customers to proactively prevent or minimize conditions that could adversely affect the performance and availability of the VMware Virtual Center.
