Smart Management Pack for Nokia Firewalls
Smart Management Packs (SMPs) are Jalasoft's solution to extend Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 (Ops Mgr 2007) capabilities to monitor network devices and UNIX servers. These management packs contain specific processing rule groups, computer groups, notification groups, status views, topology views, performance counters, alerts, and ready-to-use knowledge for monitoring and managing supported network devices and servers.
Jalasoft’s SMP for Nokia Firewalls delivers enterprise-class operations management for Nokia Firewalls as proactive monitoring, alerting, trend analysis, comprehensive event management, and reporting in Ops Mgr 2007. Also it has the capability of monitoring single interfaces as an object, simplifying the monitoring of devices with distributed applications, an Ops Mgr 07 feature that we are fully compatible with.
This management pack contains the ready-to-use knowledge for monitoring and managing Nokia Firewalls. Fifty six (56) predefined rules are provided with the SMP for Nokia Firewalls grouped in the following categories:

In sum, this SMP enables customers to prevent or minimize conditions that could adversely affect the performance and availability of the Nokia Firewalls.
