What is the licensing model for Xian Io?

In order to purchase Xian Io, you will first require a Xian Network Manager Io bundle (fixed fee). The bundle includes all Xian server components. Additionally, you will require Smart Management Pack Licenses per device/sever you wish to monitor with our solutions. These management packs also contain all related reports.

What does the one-year extended Software Service Agreement cover?

This service makes you eligible to upgrades for new releases on covered products and basic technical support for a period of 12 months. This service is optional and can be renewed yearly.

How can I test Xian Io?

You can download a free evaluation version of Xian Io fully compatible with OpsMgr 2007 directly from our website. This download allows you to test and evaluate a full-function version of Xian Io for 60 days for 10 network devices or servers. Free technical support is provided during the evaluation period.

You may download our evaluation version up to three times and if you want to further evaluate our product you may ask for an extension through contacting sales.

Can I monitor my servers/network devices with the smart management pack licenses only?

No, you can not. The smart management packs can only work in conjunction with the Xian Network Manager Io Bundle.

How much does it cost to migrate from Xian 2005 to Xian Io?

If you are a Xian 2005 customer and you have bought our product with a Software Service Agreement before May 1^st, 2007. You are entitled to a free upgrade on covered products.

If you have purchased Xian 2005 (and corresponding SSA) after May 1^st, 2007, you would have to purchase an upgrade for Xian Network Manager 2005 to Xian Network Manager Io. Please contact sales.
