Jalasoft is part of the Jala group, an organization with more than 20 years of experience in delivering world-class educational programs and creating meaningful job opportunities. Our mission is to provide young talent, especially those with limited access to quality education, reach international industry standards. This commitment also fuels innovation and intellectual property development, empowering our graduates to become key contributors in society's digital transformation journey. 

Our educational programs are designed to attract the cream of the crop, accepting only the top 2% of applicants. Despite the high volume of applications, we maintain a rigorous selection process, offering scholarships to remove financial barriers and ensure equal opportunities for all.

Bootcamps  

Our bootcamps are meticulously crafted to develop the next generation of top-tier tech talent. Offered through Jala University,these programs maintain exceptionally high standards with only a 2% acceptance rate.  On average, we receive around 500 applications for each program, yet only 10 candidates successfully complete our rigorous evaluation process. 

Over the years, the Jala Group has hosted more than  80 bootcamp editions and 110 specialization programs. These bootcamps are designed for recent graduates in computer-related fields who have up to one year of experience and strong English communication skills, giving them the tools they need to succeed in the global software industry. 

We take pride in having over 1500 graduates from these programs, professionals who meet the highest industry standards working in the tech Industry, many of whom still work at Jalasoft. 

Our bootcamps focus on five key disciplines: Fullstack, Automation Testing, DevOps, QA, and Mobile Development. Students dedicate themselves full-time to these intensive programs and receive a monthly stipend while studying with us. 

University Degrees 

Our latest commitment to nurturing talent is embodied by Jala University, an institution dedicated to shaping the next generation of tech leaders in Latin America. 

By immersing our students in comprehensive, project-based learning, they learn the practical skills and technical knowledge needed to thrive in today’s software development industry. Our programs, ranging from four to twelve months, are intensive and focused, providing real-world experience in cutting-edge technologies under the mentorship of our expert trainers. 

Our flagship program,  Commercial Software Engineering with a concentration in Design and Architecture, is a four-year program divided into two stages. During the first two years, students follow a shared curriculum that builds a strong conceptual and practical foundation across core software engineering disciplines.

During the last two years of the program, their studies focus on advanced skills in design and architecture, culminating in a thesis project developed in collaboration with our Research and Development (R&D) team. 

The program’s goal is to ensure the students master the best practices of the commercial software industry, developing robust, easily maintainable, scalable applications that foster interaction through exceptional user experiences. 

The program focuses on the processes, methodologies, techniques, and tools needed to develop high-quality software systems that meet  international industry standards and practices. 

The curricula equips students with hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, using tools like Python, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.  They learn to build real-world AI solutions and understand how to work with AI across three levels: Automation, Augmentation, and Agency.

Additionally, Jala University degrees require the completion of the English Second Language (ESL) for the Software Engineering Certificate Program. This non-credit program is designed to strengthen students’ English proficiency skills for professional communication in the global software industry. The program combines cross-cultural communication training, Business English, and technical English for Software Engineering, ensuring graduates can confidently collaborate in international environments.

At Jalasoft, our Athlete engineers exceed typical market skill levels because we train in-house under rigorous standards.  Every candidate undergoes demanding exams and proficiency assessments to ensure they meet our high expectations. We don’t have juniors, we have Athletes. They bring curiosity and a fresh perspective of recent graduates, paired with energy, discipline, and dedication.  

From day one, each newcomer’s progress is closely monitored through bi-weekly evaluations based on the five pillars that define Jalasoft’s employees: their immersion in the SDLC, teamwork, adherence to Jalasoft’s values, proficiency in the tech stack, and quality of their code. Our data shows that our Athletes typically become active team members and reach full productivity within just three months of joining their respective teams. 

Because of our stringent standards and rigorous testing, only a  few reach the level Jalasoft sets as a Senior Engineer. This distinction is not taken lightly, as it represents years of proven expertise, dedication, and continuous growth. Just as our Athlete engineers surpass the industry expectations, our senior engineers have earned their status through years of proven excellence and commitment to their craft.
