2025 was a year of milestones and momentum for us at Jalasoft. It marked 25 years since our founding, and our small Bolivian startup of six quality engineers has blossomed into a global powerhouse with over 1,000 team members. We believe our people are our superpower: from day one, Jalasoft was built on the conviction that Latin American talent can compete with the world’s best. As CEO Jorge López reminds us, “Jalasoft is what it is because of you” – our dedicated engineers, partners, and clients who have walked alongside us on this journey. Along the way, we’ve pushed boundaries, championed education, and invested in our community. In 2025, we deepened that commitment: every success – from new technology breakthroughs to growing our teams – is driven by people with passion and purpose.

Our Cochabamba headquarters, emblazoned with the Jalasoft name, stands as a symbol of our 25-year journey. What began in 2001 with a bold dream has become an enduring story of growth and impact. We’ve introduced world-class solutions (like 360ID and Jala Ignite) and forged cutting-edge R&D initiatives in blockchain and generative AI.

Reaching New Heights: 2025 by the Numbers and Beyond

This year, Jalasoft earned an NPS score of 80, topping our previous 73 score, and showing that there is always room for improvement. This number reflects deep client satisfaction built on engineering quality and reliable delivery. The company was also recognized as a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Data & AI, a distinction that underscores Jalasoft’s technical expertise and ability to evolve alongside the most complex software trends.

But for us, growth isn’t only measured by metrics but by people. Through it all, Jalasoft maintained its core belief: “Tools can accelerate outputs,” López noted, “but they can’t replace the reasoning that turns ‘working code’ into meaningful software.”

Expanding a Legacy of Talent in the Americas

Through its educational partner, Jala University, the company welcomed 361 new students in 2025, bringing the total to 843 students currently enrolled. “Our model isn’t just about writing better code,” López added. “It’s about writing a better future—for our engineers, for our clients, and for our region.” These young developers—many of whom come from underserved communities—receive world-class training at no cost, preparing them to shape the future of technology in Latin America and beyond.

A Human-Centered Approach to AI

In 2025, Jalasoft formalized its AI Practice Group—a dedicated initiative focused on responsible, client-aligned adoption of generative AI. Rather than chasing trends, the team defined clear guidelines and frameworks for when, how, and why AI should be used.

“We’re not throwing AI at problems and hoping for the best,” said López. “We’re thinking critically about impact, reliability, and context. Because if we get it wrong, it’s not just a tech failure—it’s a strategic one.”

The company also reinforced its commitment to security and governance, achieving ISO 27001 certification and ensuring every project meets or exceeds client-specific compliance standards.

Building a Global Voice, Rooted in Latin America

In 2025, Jalasoft’s leadership and engineers were featured in major podcasts, including The Sourcing Industry Landscape, Tech Talks Daily, and TechStrong TV. The company also became a proud member of the Sourcing Industry Group (SIG), cementing its role in the global sourcing and procurement conversation.

Jalasoft teams traveled the globe, contributing ideas and learning from industry leaders at major conferences like Web Summit Lisbon, the SIG Summit, MTLC, and more.

These platforms amplified a unique perspective: that Latin America is not just an emerging region, but a center of innovation and resilience.

Growing for Tomorrow: New Talent, New Chapters

To support its expanding vision, Jalasoft added new leadership in 2025. Lesley Mackie joined as Chief Marketing Officer and Celeste Anderson as Chief Revenue Officer, bringing global experience and fresh energy to the executive team. A new Sales Development team was also launched to deepen client engagement and drive new opportunities.

Looking ahead to 2026, Jalasoft plans to expand its Managed Services division, offering project-based delivery with the same high bar for quality and collaboration that defines its core model.

Leadership Reflections – A Message from Jorge López

As the year wrapped, Jorge López looked back on 2025 with both pride and humility. He celebrated that people, not hype, defined 2025:

“Even though many might think otherwise, 2025 wasn’t the year of AI. It was the year of human talent,” he said, underscoring that our progress came from skilled engineers and their dedication, not magic bullets. He reiterated our core belief: “At Jalasoft, we have always believed that excellence comes from people—not shortcuts.”

He took a moment to thank the team directly: “Jalasoft is what it is because of you,” López said to employees. Looking forward, his charge for 2026 was clear: “Let’s enter the new year with humility, strength, and the confidence that we can create extraordinary results when we act as one team.”

Vision for 2026 – Leading with Purpose

As we turn the calendar to 2026, our vision is bold and people-centered. We will build on this year’s foundation in several key ways:

  • AI-Enabled Delivery: We’ll integrate AI thoughtfully into every project, boosting our engineers’ productivity while maintaining human oversight. Our goal is to become a leader in AI-driven development and QA, using intelligent tools to accelerate value for clients.

  • Deeper Educational Investments: We will grow our education programs – expanding Jala University admissions, launching new bootcamps, and strengthening our pro-bono training labs. More talent pipelines mean better teams for clients and more opportunities for youth.

  • Outcome-Driven Partnerships: We will double down on managed services and value-based contracts. Success will be measured by client outcomes and innovation, not just effort or headcount. This aligns with the feedback we heard: clients want real results and trusted advisors.

  • Scaling Managed Services: Our Managed Services division will expand, offering turnkey development and QA. We’ll invest in specialized service pods (AI ops, DevOps, etc.) that deliver continuous improvement and 24/7 support.

  • Leading with Purpose: Throughout it all, we will continue to weave our values into everything we do. Whether advancing quality standards (like ISO 27001 compliance) or driving social impact, we promise to lead with a higher purpose – empowering people and uplifting communities as we innovate.

This is how we will make 2026 another year of transformation – guided by the same philosophy that has driven us for 25 years.

Thank you to our clients, partners, and especially our Jalasoft team. Your dedication made 2025 a year of extraordinary achievement. As Jorge López affirmed, our best work is done “when we act as one team” and believe in our collective potential. Let’s carry that spirit forward – together – into the next chapter. The future of technology is still being written, and at Jalasoft, we are eager and ready to lead it with talent, heart, and purpose.
